Friendly Visit: Night at the Museum Continued

As you know, Morgan accompanied me to the Dallas Museum of Art last week for the preview of the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit and lecture.  She looked fabulous as usual.

She is Wearing:

Dress: Old Navy (recent)

Red Flower Pin: Hobby Lobby
Jewelry: Old
Purse: Coach
Shoes: Manolo Blahnik

I was trying to take a break from Old Navy because I swear that I am wearing something by Old Navy in almost every other post!  It's hard to be stylish on a budget! Besides, who doesn't love ON?  Well, Morgan loves them and with good reason.  Can you believe this cute and very chic dress is from Old Navy? It is and it's recent, so go out and shop!  The red flower pin from Hobby Lobby is her own addition to the dress.

Did you know that I don't own a black handbag?  I have one black clutch and that's it.  The Chaps handbag I wore in this post was gifted to one of my sisters-in-law and I am on the hunt for a classic black handbag.  I love this Coach bag that Morgan wore to the museum.  It's my favorite style (single handle hobo) because bags that have two straps always manage to have at least one constantly sliding off my shoulder.  I usually don't like outside logos and monograms on my clothes, shoes or handbags, but this black on black monogram is very understated and I like it more every time I see her carry this bag.

I really believe that one of the things that bonds my friendship with Morgan so tightly is our deep, deep love of shoes and all things Sex and The City.  SATC 2 wasn't Morgan's favorite, but we both absolutely loved the fashions and we sometimes pretend that the original SATC movie was the last we ever saw of that.  Every aspiring Carrie Bradshaw knows that shoes can change a girl's life.  Just ask Cinderella.  Morgan is no exception and I love, love, LOVE her Manolo Blahnik Leopard/Zebra Cross Strap Sandals! I love the color combination, I love the texture, and I love the print.  I think these might be my favorite pair of shoes that she owns.
Thanks again for letting me photograph you and for appearing on my blog! I think you are so beautiful and I've always loved your style!

Happy Thursday, Everyone!
