Thursday Night Football

The kids went back to school this week and there was no time to waste when it comes to extra-curricular activities.  Our oldest plays in the marching band and they had their first game last night.  I decided to go back to basics and wear a classic white tee, jeans and flats to watch the game.

These are my new Paige Premium Denim Skyline jeans.  I ordered the straight cut and had my tailor hem them for flats. The color is similar to my Kylie crop jeans seen here and here, but the straight silhoutte feels more comfortable than the very skinny fit of my Kylie ones. I love them!
I also want to warn anyone that buys the two layer linen top from Banana Republic to read the care tag! I didn't  because I thought it was a t-shirt, a linen one, but just a t-shirt and I threw in the washing machine.  When it came out it was completely warped and the seams were twisted and I was pretty upset.  It turns out that this is a handwash only item and you are supposed to lay it flat to dry.  I've been able to fix it somewhat, but it turned into a much more high maintenance item than I expected from a t-shirt.
