Farmers Market

I wore this outfit to brunch with Morgan a couple of weeks ago when I was teetering between blogs. I actually forgot that I never did an outfit post for this because I used one of the photos for my about me page and a couple of other things.

I am Wearing:
Dress: Body Central (gift from an uncle)
Sweater: Calvin Klein
Shoes: BCBGeneration
Crossbody Bag: M.A.C by Rebecca Minkoff
Necklaces: Bought from a street vendor in San Jose del Cabo
Earrings: Old, can’t remember where I bought them
Bracelet: Marc Jacobs (gift from Mr. Fantastic)

In any case, I really like this dress, it was a gift from an uncle of mine this past summer.  I advised him that I had fallen in love with maxi dresses, but that I was having a very hard time finding any that either fit properly or could be tailored without changing the dress.  I moaned that I really wanted a couple of maxi dresses for our summer vacation so that I could look cute without looking like I was trying too hard.  He found this dress for me and it really fits the bill! I've worn it to work as a skirt with a covered up top and a cardigan, but I think it's beautiful as a simple dress.

The necklaces are from a street vendor in San Jose del Cabo, the earrings are really old and I've carried the Rebecca Minkoff MAC and the Marc Jacobs bracelet before. I threw on my very loved and worn out cardigan in my favorite color: cobalt blue.  Don't look too closely or you will see the pilling of the sweater.  I want to defuzz it, but it will be practically see through when I am done!
I love the denim shoes, but I have to be very careful to not pair them with other denim, especially denim pants because it's so hard to match denim.  I wore these to the office a few weeks ago as my homage to casual friday in a conservative office.
