Friendly Visit: Cotton and Lace

I've recruited Morgan to appear on my blog once again.  I am really excited and I hope that readers appreciate guest appearances as much as I do.
Morgan is Wearing:
Floral Detail Cardigan: Old Navy
Top: Mossimo for Target
Lace Skirt: Xhileration for Target
Shoes: Audrey Brooks via DSW
Necklace and Earrings: Old Navy (recent)

While I love to see all the bloggers photos and I've LOVED feeling like I've gotten to know bloggers over the years, I still feel a tad indulgent posting up picture after picture of me.  Besides, it's painfully obvious that I still have so much to learn about style and fashion.  With that in mind, I am going to try to recruit stylish people I have the priviledge of calling my friends.  Morgan was my first victim recruit and I am so humbled that she agreed to make a second visit to my baby blog.

I am so relieved that I am not the only person that wears clothes more than once a week! If something works, I wear the heck out of it and I am so glad that Morgan shares my philosophy.  This black sweater with the floral detail is by Old Navy and she also wore it in this post.  Isn't it great?  I found a similar one in cashmere here and this steal here.  The statement necklace by Old Navy is perfect against the cream backdrop of the top and earrings are the perfect amount of understated.

I've seen several bloggers style the lace skirt, but I haven't found one with a great fit for me yet.  Morgan's is the perfect length and styled with the simple top, pretty cardigan and peep toe shoes, it is completely work appropriate!  I love it and now have to go search for one ASAP.

The shoes are perfect for the office and for those nights when your lover wants to take you to dinner.  I need a classic pair of black peep toes and I am always impressed when others already have things I want in their closets. I only wish my friends and I wore the same shoe size so I could raid more than their jewelry drawers.

Thank you!
