Happy Monday! I took
a break this weekend to help my brother move and then I couldn’t move. But now it’s Monday and back to work we go!
I am
Wearing:
Sweater: H&M
Camisole: Target
Slacks: Tahari
Shoes: Christian
Louboutin Sigourney
Belt: eBay
Earrings: Old
I’ve seen a lot of bloggers pull a belt over their sweaters
and I thought I would give it a go. I’ve
always carried the bulk of my weight around my midsection, so I don’t think I
would have ever willingly called attention to that area of my body. I am still torn about it, because while I
think I liked this result, I still don’t think belts and I get along very well.
I only added earrings for jewelry because I thought it would
be too much with the belt and the shiny boots and more jewelry, but now I think
I could have gotten away with a necklace.
These earrings are years and years old and I bought them at a thrift
shop in California a long time ago, but I love the color and their unique
shape.
I love these boots.
These were a gift from Mr. Fantastic a month after we got married. I saw them on sale and I really wanted them
so I texted him a picture. He said I
could go ahead and buy them because I’d “been a good wife for a whole month to
{him}”, isn’t that silly? I brought them home and imagine my horror when it was
sooo painful to even walk in them after 20 minutes. I was NOT returning them and I had to make
them work. Luckily, I’ve discovered that
with all my Louboutin shoes, there is a painful breaking in period. It’s not
too bad, once you know and you are prepared for it. I used to think I could buy the shoes and
wear them out that night. Now I know
that I have to buy them at least a couple of weeks ahead of time and wear them
around the house to break them in first!

Tell me what you think, but be nice! You catch more flies with sugar than spice!
