Sushi Dinner Date

Mr. Fantastic is out of town for work again this week, but we had a couple of days alone before he left yesterday.  We went out for sushi on Friday and saw The Vow yesterday although he will be denying watching that for a long, long time. I wore this Friday night for our date.  It was fun to have him to myself and we hadn't had sushi in a long time.  That in itself is strange because we both love it and he loves his hot sake.

Camisole: Nordstrom Rack; Top: Saint Tropez West; Sweater: Gap
Necklace: no label/eBay
I bought this necklace last year for our family photos and it turned out to not go with the outfit I'd planned.  It's not signed and I found it on eBay so I have no idea what label it is, but I've been wanting to wear it for a while and a casual dinner date was perfect.

Skirt: T by Alexander Wang (c/o ShopBop); Watch: Hello Kitty
Another gift from the IFB conference at the beginning of the month was a gift card to Shopbop.  I love looking through their lookbooks, but because they sell so much designer gear, I always thought they were out of my price point.  I was very pleasantly surprised to see that their prices are on par with other department stores that carry designer wear.   The gift card was for less than $100, but so was the skirt due to their sale!  I've been wanting to try Alexander Wang for a long time and now I am officially obsessed.

Shoes: Christian Louboutin Bianca in Grey Flannel

What is your favorite date night look?

  4. Thank you so much for your fabulous feedback! It gives me the warmest tickle when I see comments on my posts. I know it's lame, but I can't help it.

Also, I LOVED The Vow, but I am the kind of girl that is full of sappy. I actually cried twice during the movie. That is why my husband will flat out deny that he took me to see it.

Tell me what you think, but be nice! You catch more flies with sugar than spice!
