Spring into the Blue

Yesterday was a full errand day as I prep for a full date weekend and next week's travel.  I had to get my roots retouched and always need a few days for my hair to settle after getting it dyed, plus I had a lunch date and a meeting at the kid's school.

Top: Old Navy – old (similar here and very posh one here)
Camisole: Target
Skirt: Lapis
Shoes: Christian Louboutin – old (Cute w/Leather and fabulous summer denim here)
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff MAC (similar here in burgundy)
Bracelets: Marc Jacobs, T+J Designs, Thrifted Sterling Silver
Sunglasses: Ray-ban (buy mine here)

I am wearing sunglasses in all the photos because I have my eyebrow appointment today and in the meantime, I evoke cries of "Holy Unibrow, Batman!" and "Frida!" neither of which are attractive.  Hopefully that won't be the case after today.
I have to admit that this outfit is a very comfortable one for me.  Everything is easy and lets me move around.  I like my bracelets, but I still have a very hard time wearing more than two at a time. Maybe, one day I will decide to throw all of my bracelets on at the same time just for kicks.
I've had these Louboutins for several years now and I still love the classic silhouette and fabric.  I always have a hard time matching denim shoes to any other denim, so I prefer not to try.  I usually try to pair denim shoes with other blues because I feel like the colors coordinate, but don't need to match exactly.
Happy Thursday!

    1. I know you and I share a weakness for CLs, although I think your collection is more extensive than mine!

  2. Kudos on the bracelets! Do you wear rings sometimes?

    1. Thanks! It's hard for me to find rings because I am allergic to nickel and some brass. Most costume jewelry is plated so I can't wear it for a long time and rings are the worst because it's on my hands and I can't hide the hives. I usually try to coat it with clear nail polish, but then that wears off so I just try to remember to take them off when I am washing my hands and I end up losing them as I did the one at the DMA a couple of weeks ago.
