On our second day in New Orleans we went to the National World War II Museum and stayed there for hours. If you have never been, I highly recommend it. I was surprised to discover that the national museum is in New Orleans because I would have expected it to be in Washington DC, but they have it here because the company that made the Higgins boats (the ones that open up front and allowed the soldiers to storm the beaches of Normandy) were made here in New Orleans. This is me looking dubious as Mr. Fantastic plays with the camera's white balance (we failed, meh.)
After the museum
I don't think you will see me in heels except for the last morning and that was because we had our car with us and I didn't have to walk far at all. Here is another shot of us playing with our new toy (new wide angle lens) at Lee Circle. It is rumored that the statue of General Lee is facing North because "you should never turn your back on a Yankee."
Happy Tuesday!

ReplyDeleteHey Ana! Thanks for your comment! Your bracelet is really lovely! Even my boyfriend loves my long hair but he lives away so I chopped it in such a way that the length remains semi intact. he's in for a shock when he comes cas its much shorter than before!
