A Vested Interest

I met Morgan for lunch last week after my school visit to my kid's school.  I know, I wore a black maxi skirt two days in a row.  I should be embarrassed, but I'm not.  This is really what I wear ALL the time in warm weather.  Maybe I will try to branch out this spring and summer so I can have different material for this blog.
Top: Express; Skirt: Lapis
Vest: Young, Fabulous, and Broke
I bought this vest last year because I wanted an easy layering piece that didn't add bulk to an outfit and this ivory sequined vest fit the bill.  I need ideas for other colors to wear with it. I've noticed that pinks like this watermelon top and coral look great against the tourmaline sequins, but I end up only wearing it with this and one other top.  Any ideas?
Necklace: BaubleBar
 Wallet: Calvin Klein
Bracelets: BaubleBar; Ring: DKNY x BaubleBar
BaubleBar has really been the detriment of any semblance of a monthly budget I could ever have hoped to achieve.  It seems like every single time I log in, there is some fabulous new bauble I have to have.  Lord help me as I prepare for LuckyFABB in Santa Monica in just TWO short little weeks!
Sandals: Cole Haan
Is anyone else attending LuckyFABB at the end of the month? Let me know, maybe we can plan a get together before or after.  I can't wait to get back out to the west coast. I miss you, LA LA Land!

  5. I really love the shoes and the wallet. This is a nice look. I normally don't wear vests, but you work this one out really well. It looks cool...and Southerners like cool clothing!

  6. Thank you for stopping by and the encouraging words on #blogtrends tonight. It really helped.

I'm really liking the sandals. I've been saying that I need to find some cute flats to walk around in since most of my shoes are heels. #takingnote

  7. Thank you everyone for your kind responses! I love these sandals so much, too and I hate that they are already so beaten up, but that is just because I wear them ALL the time when the weather is nice!
