Walking New Orleans

My husband and I love New Orleans and we usually take any opportunity to visit. We took a quick roadtrip over to Lousiana this past weekend and took advantage of the wonderful weather in the middle of May.  In the past we've taken tours of the cemetaries, the 9th ward and done the Jazz Dinner cruise. This trip we decided to do a walking courtyard tour and it was really worth it.  There were so many places that we didn't even know had courtyards and it was great to hear about the family that the tour focuses on.

I wanted to be comfortable and cool while we walked around, so I went with flat sandals, a crossbody bag, tank top, jeans and a ponytail.  I probably shouldn't have picked white jeans, but I didn't see any stains on them until I was tossing them in the washing machine.  Can you tell it was very windy?
