Double Date

The drop in temperatures didn't last long and we quickly bounced back to warm days with highs in the 80's and lows in the 70's.  We call that Fall here in Texas.  Last night, Mr. Fantastic and I had a double date with friends.  We went to The Porch in Dallas and I really should have taken a photo of the Gooey Butter Cake because it was just delicious!

I found this Milly dress at Buffalo Exchange this past summer, but it came down past my knee and ended up cutting me off right at the thickest part of my calf.  I took it to my tailor and had it brought up to just above my knee as well as taking the straps up a bit.  I'm very pleased with the end result and it is now a classic staple in my closet.  Last night, I kept my accessories to a minimum and paired it with silver shoes and a clutch that Mr. Fantastic made for me last year when I told him what I wanted.
