Washington, DC: The National Mall

Our last stop on our family vacation was Washington, D.C. and it was definitely one of the most emotional parts of the trip.  Our first day we spent it at the National Mall where all the monuments are located.
Sunglasses: c/o Michael Stars
Necklace: Bottica c/o Klout Perks
Top: DKNY Collection
It was sooo HOT, ugh!
Jeans: Kylie Crop c/o Paige Premium Denim (fit me like ankle pants)
Tote: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Converse
You can see the Washington Monument from everywhere on the Mall and I think from anywhere in D.C., but we started at the Vietnam Memorial. It was amazing to see so many names, but more so, it was very moving to see the tributes that people have left to their friends.

We continued to the Korean War Memorial, The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, and the World War II Memorial.  We ended the day at the White House wondering if it would be fun to live there.  We concluded that yes, it would be fun indeed!

My favorite quote: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice
everywhere." My dad used to quote Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
when we were growing up. I was very emotional here.

This is the last outfit post from our vacation.  I will wrap up our vacation posts later this week, but I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July!  Recapping our vacation to the east coast has made me extra patriotic this year.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
