Grounded Lace

My husband is traveling for work this week, but before he left, he took us out for dinner.  I wanted to be comfortable but look pretty so I grabbed my trusty Ann Taylor lace tee.  To make it a tad more casual, I paired it with my black T-shirt skirt and a pair of espadrilles.  Then I went a tad romantic with the accessories.

I bought the Divine Wedges by Naughty Monkey last year, and I LOVED the design, but they were so heavy because they are all leather! When I found this pair of MIA dupes and saw that they weren't real leather I took the chance that they would be lighter and easier to walk in.  I was right and I love wearing them because I get the look without a full leg workout!

I usually try to support the original creators, but in this case, I had to make an exception. What is your favorite fashion exception?
