Shopping Maxi

This is one of my favorite dresses.  The black color makes it very versatile and easy to dress up or down depending on the accessories and it fit right off the rack.  This never happens because I am 5' tall!  Last week, I met up a friend that was back in town after EIGHT YEARS abroad and I wore this outfit to introduce her precious baby girl to Mommy and Aunt Ana's favorite shopping haunt, Northpark Center!

I also wore black, because she hadn't seen me in a long time and I've gained around 40 pounds since she last saw me.  Black is slimming, right? RIGHT? Sigh.

How adorable is her daughter? I lurve her and I tried to claim her as mine when she made a beeline past the sale racks and went straight for the glitter Jimmy Choo's at Nordstrom!
