Red Sweetheart

I hope everyone had a Valentine's Day filled with love and friendship! Mr. Fantastic tried to make romantic dinner plans, but I derailed those when I didn't want to leave the boys out.  Instead we hit up one of our favorite pho restaurants nearby with the kids.  It was dark by the time we finalized plans and even darker after dinner when I realized I didn't take pictures of my Valentine's Day outfit. We still haven't mastered the white balance with the new lens and I am not very good at color correcting, especially for halogen lights which is all we found on the way home from dinner.  I think the very first photo is the closest, but not quite, the true apple red color of my top.

We kept the holiday very low key, my husband doesn't like being pressured into being romantic and he gives me flowers randomly so I didn't have any flowers to show off on my timeline, but he made me coffee before going to work and gave me a gift card for some new books I want on my Nook plus he took us all to dinner.  I gave him some awesome champagne cork cuff links I bought on Etsy here and a super sappy card.  The truth is that he works really hard and my favorite gift is time with him.

For the Take One, Pass It On challenge, I took the wrap bracelet from my previous outfit and worked it back into Valentine's Day one.  I will try to finally move away from red soon, I promise!
