Looking for Jet Planes

Mr. Fantastic is out of town this week for work and since his travel interrupted a long-planned dinner party with friends, he was trying to be nice and make it up to me.  We tried to find this place at the airport called Founders Observation Plaza where you are supposed to be able to see the planes at the airport as they land.  Of course, we couldn't find it so we just pulled over and took these photos before I dropped him off at his gate.
Sweater: Banana Republic (2012); Camisole: Yummie Tummie
Denim: Joe’s Jeans Provocateur (current); Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Earrings: Blue Nile
Necklaces: Gorjana c/o Dallas Tidbits & c/o KendraScott
Handbag: Sam Edelman Armand Satchel
Flats: DV by Dolce Vita (really old, ca. 2009)
My husband travels a great deal for work.  We try to have rules that I like to refer to as our "separation agreement." These include that he can't be gone for longer than 5 days without me or me and the kids meeting him somewhere to break up the time we don't see him or he has to call every day and FaceTime with the boys at least 3 times a week, etc. However, at the end of the day it's not always possible to adhere to these and I like to shout at the phone, "You are VIOLATING our Separation Agreement!" I don't know how he stays married to me.
Jeans are so much easier to move forward in my Take One, Pass It On Challenge.  And look, no red! And a better hair day, and I disguised my muffin top somewhat. You're welcome.

Happy President's Day! Are you going shopping today? I bought a pair of flat espadrilles during the sales. You will see them soon!

  1. Haha, separation agreement! I am so grateful that my hubby doesn't usually travel for work. I miss him like crazy even if he goes away for a weekend with friends.

  3. Thank you, girls! If I am funny, it is definitely in passing. I swear I have full on anxiety attacks when he isn't here. I can't sleep at night, I don't know how to do the kid's homework (I have a college degree and their homework is SOO hard!) and most of all, I get lonely by myself! :(
