Colored Denim: Oxblood and Ivory

Texas weather threw us for a loop this weekend.  Temperatures dropped into the high 40s/low 50's by Saturday and we had a housewarming and a Rock Band Birthday party to attend Saturday night.  I've been debating the colored denim trend since last year and dipped my toes in with white, ivory and black jeans earlier this year.  However, this is my my first real plunge into colored jeans, so I embraced the super hot oxblood trend.
Sweater: Gap (old) (similar by Free People here
Camisole: American Eagle Outfitters
Denim: c/o Paige Premium Denim Peg Skinny (buy)
Earrings: No Label via Clothes Circuit
Necklace: Express (old)
I love these earrings, I found them at my favorite consignment store in Dallas, Clothes Circuit.  I stopped by there last month and picked up a vintage Oscar De La Renta silk and pearl clutch and these earrings were hanging by the register waiting for me to pounce.  So I did.
Handbag: Prada (old) (trendy update here)
Boots: Colin Stuart via Victoria’s Secret (old)
The weather was actually a case of really great timing.  Since we took our house off the market a couple of months ago, our winter and holiday items were still in storage.  Mr. Fantastic and his amazing friends emptied our storage unit just the previous weekend and I was lucky that all my sweaters and boots were back just in time for the cold front!

I really like these jeans and I am hooked!  My favorite thing about these peg skinny jeans by Paige Premium Denim is that they don't fit like jeggings.  Most jeans that are labeled "skinny" nearly cut off my circulation unless I size up more than one size.  These don't feel flimsy or thin like many current jeans do. So I am definitely all in!

What other colors should I buy for fall?  Which ones should I skip?
