I'm With The Band

Last weekend, we were invited to Crawfest 2012 by one of our friends who was playing in a band at the event.  They went on at 3PM and it was HOT!!!! Luckily, we love Shuck N Jive, where the event was held and the Fish & Shrimp Platter along with the cosmopolitans made me forget all about the heat!
This is Used Cars, they are a Cars coverband. Our friend, The Music Man, is on the far left rocking the guitar.

This has definitely been the summer of wedges and I couldn't believe it when I found these puppies. I liked the cork and rope detail, but I was really drawn to the nude color.  They gave me blisters the first time I wore them, but I bought these spot dots by Fab Feet at Target and just applied them where my foot was being rubbed.  They are super comfy now.

What do you recommend to avoid blisters when breaking in new shoes?

    Oohh good tip about the spot dots! Going to buy them. . . I typically stop wearing my shoes after blisters. . . or try to break them in inside the house :)

    those are cute shoes! Bandaids (having them in your purse) usually help with blister problems.

    Spot dots? I will have to check those out! I just donated a bunch of shoes that were giving me blisters, now I'm regretting it just a little :)

    This outfit is perfect for concert-going! love it!
