Miami Nights

After we spent the whole day laying on the beach, we headed to Ocean Drive for dinner and drinks.  I'd worn this outfit for the cocktail party at the Kelly Wearstler boutique on Melrose the night before LuckyFABB West, but didn't take many photos. Since we only took a couple of photos again in Miami, I pulled them together to create one outfit post.
In the photo above I am standing with Kelly of Alterations Needed, Jenni of ISpyDIY, and Wendy of Wendy's Lookbook.  They were really nice even though my camera was being weird.

I will say that Miami is not where I would go on a strict budget.  We spent a couple of hours on Ocean Drive having a couple of drinks and people watching from the patio on the corner of 7th and Ocean Drive across from the Avalon.  We bought 4 drinks (they were buy one, get one free for HH) and one appetizer sampler and our tab was $150!  Seriously! Each drink was $25 and the appetizer was $45!  We then headed to La Parilla Liberty, an Argentinian Steakhouse and while our tab was slightly higher, we each had an entree and sides and we shared a bottle of wine.  Not to mention that the food was very tasty.  It was worth the mild heartburn that followed that night.

We ended the night at the Bleau Bar at our hotel.  It was so much fun to sit and watch the young and beautiful people and their attempts at hooking up.  I loved both nights I spent in Miami and it was definitely great to be in town with friends instead of by ourselves as we often are.

How do you divide your time when on vacation? All planned? No plan? or a bit of both?
