Lucky FABB Recap: Celebrities, Entrepreneurs and What I Wore

Where do I start? It was such a FABBulous and wonderful weekend in California and going through the photos I am stunned that all of this took place in just TWO days.  I am so grateful to Lucky Magazine for sponsoring this event and allowing us the opportunity to see our old blogging friends and make new ones.  I am always happily surprised to be in a room where I don't have to explain why I need photos of my bracelets and I am delighted to hear "Do you want to take outfit photos outside?"  This is something that only other style bloggers understand. My favorite part? I can't pick! But here are some photos of the celebrity panels:
The Amazing Zac Posen
He was so adorable and inspiring.  All the girls wanted to take him home.
Janie Bryant and Kiernan Shipka of Mad Men
Elizabeth Banks was hilarious and EIC of Lucky Magazine
Brandon Holley was a fantastic moderator.
How cute is Jessica Alba!?!?
And what did I choose to wear to the best dressed event of the season? I decided to mix both high end and low end garments and I loved the outcome.  I was comfortable all day and received many compliments throughout the day.  I thought since I was wearing platform wedges, that the dress would be fine, but it was a tad too long and I truly believe that it stretched as the day wore on because by the end of the day, it was about 4 inches too long! Definitely requires a trip to the tailor!
Dress: Helmut Lang; Cardigan: Bobeau
Necklace: T+J Designs
Handbag: DKNY
Shoes: BCBGeneration
Gorgeous view at the Annenberg Community Beach House
I have to say that I was very intimidated at IFB back in February because I didn't know anyone and I'd never been to a blogging conference.  Having pre-conference events was definitely appreciated as no one walked in without friends.  As much as I loved the celebrity and blogger guests, I truly appreciated all the work that the staff of Lucky Magazine put into making this event such a "blogger-centric" event.  I can't wait for September in New York!  Last pics, I promise, this post has been very photo heavy.

Bracelets: T+J Designs & BaubleBar
The talented Alison Sudol and A Fine Frenzy performed for us during
the cocktail party at the Guest House after the conference.
Does this make any of you want to come to New York with me in September? I would love to start planning our fabulous trip!
